We are halfway through 2024, which brings us into the next phase and strength cycle for Fit. This will be an Olympic lifting cycle focusing on the snatch and clean & jerk, culminating with 1 rep max tests. There will also be supplemental back squat and deadlift strength sessions. Our conditioning pieces will feature more short explosive WODs in order to really dial up the workout intensity. Our gymnastics throughout the month will be a higher exposure to pull-ups, chest to bars and bar muscle-ups.
July will have plenty of benchmarks including Jackie, Fight Gone Bad, a Filthy Fifty retest, and the Hero WOD, Bradshaw, on the 4th. The monostructural day will continue in Sweat, while Flex will wrap up its current cycle that’s focused on the back squat, bench press and weighted pull-ups.
