May Programming

May is going to be an awesome month with our Fit workouts. The first week sets the tone with a 3 rep max test for the overhead squat, front squat and bench press! Throughout the month, we will see the gymnastics focus shift from the strict handstand push-up to building capacity in the toes to bar. There will be special workouts for Cinco De Mayo and Mother’s Day, the benchmark workout Kelly, and of course Murph on Memorial Day!

Flex will be pivoting back to back to some higher volume training after we test our 5 rep maxes. The next cycle will be focused on tri-sets to hit specific muscle groups from every angle. We will be doing three exercises per muscle group in quick succession. Each week you will see a Lower Body Tri-Set, Upper Body Push Tri-Set and an Upper Body Pull Tri-Set.

Make sure you also get to our Sweat classes. This is a great option as a stand along weekly program or can be used as a compliment to Fit and Flex.
