You’ve noticed our Personal Record (PR) Bell is hanging up at the gym. It represents celebrating and honoring your hard work day in and out. On days where you brought it, days where you didn’t want to go, but showed up anyway, days where you were frustrated by where you were, days where you killed it and knew it, and everything in between.
This bell also represents your internal strength and the strength of our community; ringing that bell isn’t a small feat or a private ceremony. It’s about owning your dedication. Sharing your success with our Prowess community, who love and want to see you excel. Let the bell ringing remind you of the gym’s informal motto, “Better Than Yesterday.” Remember to embrace your accomplishments, be proud, and let the world know.
I, for one, LOVE to hear you ring PR Bell, whatever your ringing preference might be. It doesn’t matter if you are:
a single-strike shy bell ringer,
a bring the cows home multi-striker,
or even a Hulk power ringer.
What matters is you recognize what ringing that bell means to you and everyone else who hears it. It is commitment, purpose, community pride, tradition, and celebration.
So, keep track of those personal records at home, work, and gym – I know we have some outstanding accomplishments to put on the Bright Spots board too! Don’t be afraid to share with the coach or even write it yourself.
Celebrate the small wins and little victories, and remember just how far you’ve come. It may not seem like a lot at the moment, but when you string together the small wins, they lead to significant accomplishments.
