September will be the final month of our horsepower phase with a focus on GPP (general physical preparation) strength training, utilizing 2-3 lifts or complexes each week. We will kick off the month with Hotshots 19, retest Kelly, and take on Amanda during the month. On 9/11 there will be a tribute WOD to commemorate the day. Our gymnastics focus will center around the muscle up with a focus on building efficiency.
Flex will feature full-body splits midway through the month. This means we will see a variety of upper-body and lower-body exercises plus supersets during each training day. This approach will allow for a higher overall frequency of training leading to better muscle retention and growth. In Sweat, we will continue to get that heart rate pumping and lungs burning with monostructural days on Tuesday and Thursday.
