April Programming

April will kick of a new strength cycle for Fit. This cycle will be all about volume as we work higher rep sets for the overhead squat, front squat, and bench press. This cycle will lead us into 3 rep heavy attempts for all three of the lifts. The month will also have a new hero workout, Filthy Fifty, and the benchmark workout, Ava. There will be a focus on the strict handstand push-up and rowing capacity with weekly grinders to build that long distance motor.

Throughout the month, our Flex programming will continue with the current cycle. The strength focus will be on the front squat, bench press and sumo deadlift, with the culmination of the this phase being 5 rep max tests. Sweat will be a well rounded mix of exercises that give us our high intense cardio workouts.

Murph prep also begins this month, which will continue all the way to Memorial Day!
